Huntridge Circle Park

huntridgecirclepark-lv-cult-comm.jpg
In 2006, city officials closed Huntridge Circle Park after the fatal stabbing of a homeless man. After its re-opening in the spring of 2011, residents of the Huntridge, Marycrest and John S. Park neighborhoods have worked hard to keep it open—organizing cleanups, gently discouraging homeless camping and holding a variety of community events, from dog shows to outdoor movies. The result is a Huntridge Circle Park that all Downtowners have come to love and respect. 1251 S. Maryland Pkwy., Facebook.com/HuntridgeCirclePark.
