We know what you’re thinking: “What the hell is Savasana? Why is it done in silence? And how does it fit into the whole fitness thing?” To sum it all up: Silent Savasana is yoga done while wearing headphones. Led by yoga instructor Dray Gardner, the concept replaces the “ohms” and chants that come with traditional yoga with “downbeat chill” tunes by various DJs—think silent disco, without the dancing. The phenomenon has already made its mark, with yogis flocking to events at Red Rock Resort and various public parks. (Yes, we’re kicking ourselves, too, for not coming up with this idea first!)
