Canadian-born bombshell Tiffany Matthews was raised in Orange County before heading north to Los Angeles. While there, she honed her marketing and event chops working with SBE, then decamped to the desert three years ago to assume her current role as Hyde Bellagio’s senior event sales manager.
What separates Matthews from the pack is her unwavering dedication to her clients. Whether she is producing an event for 25 or 700, she never misses a beat. “Tiffany is unstoppable in making sure the client has the event they envisioned,” says Chanell Oliver, SBE’s executive director of VIP services and entertainment. “She stops at nothing to ensure expectations are exceeded and all the clients’ hopes are fulfilled.”
Take the event she helped curate for the launch of Samsung’s 105-inch curved HDTV during CES, when she brought in curved furniture and installed an upside-down human chandelier to proffer Champagne to guests. Or a recent wedding where she transformed the venue into a Moroccan oasis to fulfill the bride’s dream to re-create a palace scene from Disney’s Aladdin. The secret to Matthews’ success? “Having balance in life,” she says. “If you put too much stress on work and your career, you start to make mistakes. So I really try to make time for social and personal pursuits to create that balance.” –David Morris
