Best Reason to Blast Your Radio

Ill Vibe Theory

If you’re like us, you traded in FM for bluetooth streaming long ago. But Ill Vibe Theory gives us a reason to crank up those electromagnetic frequencies again. The college radio program, which airs from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tuesdays on 91.5 KUNV, features the freshest cuts from rising artists such as raspy singer/rapper Anderson .Paak, groove master Kaytranada and psychedelic beat maker Flying Lotus, among others. The curators behind the program—UNLV seniors Christian Astorga, Kailyn Brown and Jocelyn Luna—often feature guests on the cusp such as hip-hop blogger Karen Civil and new Jay Z signee Vic Mensa. Earlier this year, they partnered with Samsung to bring A$AP Rocky to the campus for an intimate talk. If you’ve ever felt uncool and out of the loop, tune in and take notes. Tuesdays, 11 p.m.-1 a.m. on 91.5 FM,
