A chain not quite as hotly anticipated as Chick-Fil-A, Kneaders Bakery & Café arrived in Henderson this year and does not disappoint. Founded in 1997 by Gary and Colleen Worthington in Orem, Utah, Kneaders serves European hearth breads, dozens of pastries and a variety of robust soups and sandwiches at family-friendly prices. Growing faster than its bread dough, Kneaders now has 47 locations in six Western states. Our favorite breakfast is the Italian Omelet—sausage, mozzarella cheese, red bell peppers and fresh basil. Rustic rye, asiago cheese and rosemary focaccia are among our favorite loaves to take home. 11271 S. Eastern Ave., Henderson, 702-831-5910, Kneaders.com.
