Best Use of a DTLV Parking Lot

Downtown Las Vegas Events Center

Sure, the DLVEC has been hosting events featuring top-tier talent since its 2014 opening, but its amped-up entertainment calendar this year has solidified the space as a venue to be reckoned with. In addition to one-off shows (Deftones and Rise Against recently shared its stage), the space has hosted two music festivals (April’s hard rock–focused Las Rageous and May’s Punk Rock Bowling) and even converted its massive lot into a makeshift stadium (complete with bleachers and a gridiron) in February for a giant Super Bowl viewing party. Who knew the corner of Carson Avenue and Third Street would end up being the place to be? 200 S. Third St., dlvec.com
