The Cosmopolitan is more than just a hotel. Though somewhat of a secret, but there are actually 15 units under private ownership. Originally, the property was going to have a condo component, but the economy tanked (you know how that goes) and a decision was made to go full hotel. A few owners, however, held on and refused a deal to return their deposits. The condos offer the best open-air balconies on the Strip and, for the most part, carry the same style, amenities and perks as the hotel rooms. The units are rarely sold, but it’s worth keeping an eye on.
