Best Reason to Wake Up in Henderson

Downtown urban dwellers might thumb their noses at Henderson and snidely refer to it as a sleepy suburb, and they would be correct. But here’s a secret: You’d be lucky to find yourself waking up in the southeast corner of the Valley if only to hit up CRAFTkitchen for breakfast. Chef Jaret Blinn’s spot offers some of the best eats to get you going in the morning, such as smoked salmon on a pretzel roll, red velvet pancakes and short rib hash. That’s assuming you actually make it into the restaurant without getting waylaid by the pastry case, which holds such treats as cronuts, croissants, homemade Pop-Tarts and scones. That warm monkey bread? We’ll roll out of bed for that anytime. 10940 S. Eastern Ave., craftkitchenlv.com
