Most Quaint Farmers Market

Perusing the produce at Downtown3rd Farmers Market will have you questioning the drab fruit chilling in your crisper drawer. The colors of the deep-red strawberries and vibrant greens look like something Matisse could have mixed. And they taste as good as they appear. The shelves are curated by Kerry Clasby, founder of Intuitive Forager, who sources the produce from some 150 regional farms, all free of pesticides. Every Friday, local vendors line the hall of the old transit station selling fresh bread, honey, spices, jewelry and other artisanal items under a stunning copper ceiling. And there’s a cafe serving delicious food, too. 300 N. Casino Center Blvd.,
