To stay centered in Sin City, you have to occasionally escape and sit, legs crossed, on a red rock. There are plenty of places to do so, including Red Rock Canyon and Valley of Fire. Add to the list the lesser-known Kraft Mountain. Bungalow-sized boulders are a distinctive feature of the 3.5-mile loop, which circles the base of the craggy mountain. The trail’s backside is a sculpted, gravelly wash teeming with life. The trail also features a mountain pass carpeted with yuccas and barrel cacti, which afford breathtaking views. But the best thing about the loop? There’s no entrance fee. In the Calico Basin area
