Some may think water aerobics is for old ladies, but the gals in Life Time Fitness’ outdoor WTRX class will show you how to kick ass pre-AARP. The boot camp–style workout was created by Speedo, which also developed resistance equipment such as hand paddles and push plates meant to move through water and build upper-body strength. In one hour, students work out their entire body until they turn into a muscle mermaid. Plus, the water makes the exercises less taxing on joints, so recovery isn’t so bad. 10721 W.
