Best IT Guy Who Is Also a DJ

DJ Pharoah

Most Las Vegas DJs are too young to remember cassette tapes, but Pharoah—that’s not a clever moniker; it’s his mama-given first name—is an OG. The Chicago native was making mixes using 8-tracks in high school and, while enlisted in the Marines, DJing parties at his base near San Diego. He still recalls his first gig in ’86, opening with the hottest song at the time: Joeski Love’s “Pee-Wee’s Dance.” Fast-forward three decades and Pharoah, now 50, is still at it, spinning weekends on Hot 97.5 and rocking special events. And if you’ve got a tech issue at your event, you’re in luck: Pharaoh also works as a specialist with Intelligent Technical Solutions. Can Diplo outfit your office with fiber internet? Doubt it. djpharoah.com
