After rejecting Las Vegas’ overtures for years, Giada De Laurentiis was finally lured here by the view from what was once the parking structure of Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall. Today, that space is Giada restaurant in the Cromwell, and it features a gorgeous wraparound view of the Strip, from the Bellagio Fountains to the towers of Caesars Palace. Some complain about the street noise when the hydraulic windows are raised, since the place is only three stories above the fray. However, others—probably from New York—say they love the energy of being so close to all the action, both within the restaurant and beyond it. 702-777-3777, TheCromwell.com.
