Less than a year after the Venetian’s award-winning Italian restaurant Valentino closed, its executive chef, Luciano Pellegrini, already has a successful new venture. Dolce Vita makes more than 90 flavors of gourmet gelato and sorbet in his company’s factory on South Valley View Boulevard. While he doesn’t sell directly to the public, you can enjoy the gelato at some of the Valley’s top restaurants and coffee shops, including Espressamente, Zio Gelato and Tao in the Venetian; Lavo in the Palazzo; Bacchanal Buffet in Caesars Palace; Flour & Barley at the Linq; and off-Strip spots such as Ferraro’s, Marche Bacchus and Paymon’s. 702-476-0152.
