One of the city’s most popular modern steakhouses, 10-year-old SW in Wynn underwent a three-week overhaul in the summer, and re-emerged with a much lighter outlook. The man behind the cosmetics is Wynn’s executive vice president of design, Roger Thomas. Fabrics reflect an all-cream palette, which makes the delectable cuts of beef look all the more juicy. Additionally, the private dining room now boasts its own patio overlooking the Lake of Dreams. Although the aesthetics may have changed, the food remains some of the best within the genre, with vegan and vegetarian options that are just as good as the carnivorous ones. What we especially love is that the lighter fare is denoted by calorie counts—and what a relief to know that a petite filet can be enjoyed for only 300 of them.
