Gordon Ramsay, Nobu Matsuhisa, Joël Robuchon, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, François Payard, Guy Savoy, Hubert Keller, Michael Mina, Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger will all be present and accounted for at the seventh annual Vegas Uncork’d by Bon Appétit, also bringing together chefs from Bellagio, Caesars Palace, MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay for a week of culinary celebration May 9-12. “It’s four days packed with intimate dinners, luncheons, wine and food tastings, cooking demonstrations and more. In its seventh year, it is the weekend for food lovers,” says Bon Appétit editor in chief, Adam Rapoport. In addition to the luncheons, dinners, tastings and, of course, after-parties, presenting sponsor Chase Sapphire Preferred will offer cardholders reserved tickets to certain events as well as exclusive access to interactive experiences with chefs, including an intimate brunch and Spanish wine pairing with chef Julian Serrano.
New events for this year include a Vegas Uncork’d kickoff party May 9 at Hakkasan restaurant and nightclub, opening this spring at MGM Grand, with signature bites and sips presented by Michelin-starred Chef Ho. Jean-Georges Vongerichten takes on farm to table May 11 at his Masters Series Luncheon. Also on May 11, chefs Hubert Keller and Laurent Pillard join the city’s first female certified cicerone Sarah Johnson for an authentic beer garden experience, featuring an Alsatian brasserie menu, a wide selection of brews and live music.
Returning this year are the Master Series dinners with Guy Savoy, François Payard and the Pellegrino family, Bobby Flay and Caesars’ two newest tenants, Nobu Matsuhisa and Gordon Ramsay.
The not-to-be-missed event of the week is the Grand Tasting on May 10, where guests enjoy signature bites prepared by more than 50 award-winning chefs, as well as more than 100 of the best wines and spirits from around the world at the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis at Caesars Palace.
