American roots rockers Dispatch come to Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas as a part of their 2018 North American tour on Friday, Aug. 17.
The Boston-based band performed from 1996 to 2002 before going on hiatus. With reunion concerts scattered throughout their break, Dispatch officially reformed in 2011, releasing their first new music in more than a decade and embarking on a tour.
Today, Dispatch is invigorating an entirely new audience, playing music, including breakout single “Only the Wild Ones” that marked the band’s first-ever Top 1- hit at AAA radio, amassing more than 8 million streams on Spotify.
Opening for Dispatch will be Nahko & Medicine for the People, the world music collective led by Nahko Bear. Nahko headlined Brooklyn Bowl in 2017, playing to a house of more than 1,000 dedicated fans. The energy will be a perfect tone-setter for Dispatch.
