The Killers, Imagine Dragons and more headline a December 1 concert benefiting the victims of 1 October.
Las Vegas’ own The Killers and Imagine Dragons are the latest major acts tapped to headline a December 1 concert at T-Mobile Arena benefiting the victims of the 1 October attack on the Strip.
The Vegas Strong Benefit Concert: For Vegas. By Vegas. will support the Las Vegas Victims’ Fund launched in the hours following the shootings. As of November 7, the GoFundMe campaign had raised more than $11 million dollars in pursuit of its $15 million goal.
MGM Grand headliner David Copperfield, Mirage stars Boyz II Men, the Rio’s Penn & Teller, and a bevy of Cirque du Soleil acts will perform at the show, with other stars likely to be announced as the show approaches.
Both The Killers and Imagine Dragons will be joining the concert in the midst of busy touring schedules.
The Killers, who released Wonderful Wonderful in September, will be returning to the Las Vegas from the United Kingdom for the show, and will resume their tour December 5 in Seattle. Imagine Dragons is touring the continental U.S. following the release of their latest, Evolve, in June, and had recently headlined at Caesars Palace’s Believer Gala fundraiser.
