TropFest

What began 20 years ago as the screening of a single short film for an audience of 200 in Australia has grown into Tropfest, the world’s largest short-film festival. Tropfest makes its American debut at the Cosmopolitan, opening with an opening party Friday at 8 p.m. featuring a live performance by Allen Stone at Book & Stage, the TropFest 20th birthday party at the Boulevard Pool Saturday at 8 p.m., and ending Sunday with the “all-star” competition to pick the best of the best from two decades of entries.
