Nevada Desert Experience is a local group that conducts inter-faith and peace events in the Las Vegas area. Today, you can join NDE, along with Chief of the Western Shoshone Johnnie Bobb, friars Louis Vitale and Jerry Zawada, and other peace activist friends for a sunrise vigil in memory of Nagasaki bombing victims, and all victims of nuclearism. Take offramp for Mercury; make a U-turn before you cross the line to the NNSS; demonstrator parking is off the road on the right almost all the way back to the freeway overpass. It takes about 65 minutes to drive to the NNSS from Las Vegas.
