Metro Search and Rescue Balloon Festival Ends Today

Friends of Metro Search and Rescue Las Vegas will host its popular Balloon Festival and Carnival Nov. 2 through 4. The event is expected to attract nearly 20,000 attendees with approximately 30 hot air balloons on display. Families will be able to get up close and personal with the hot air balloons and their pilots. This is a great opportunity to see the behind the scenes magic of how these high flying marvels work.
In addition to the beautiful hot air balloons, there will be live entertainment, food vendors, carnival rides and games, as well as a live rescue demonstration by Las Vegas’ very own Metro Search and Rescue Unit. The event will be held from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily Nov. 2-4. The festival and carnival will be at the Southern Hills Hospital at 9300 W. Sunset Road.
