Elie Wiesel Honored at In Pursuit of Excellence Gala

The Dr. Miriam & Sheldon G. Adelson Educational Campus will honor Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel at the 8th Annual In Pursuit of Excellence Gala on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 6:30 to 11 p.m. at The Venetian Las Vegas.
Elie Wiesel will be awarded the Pursuit of Excellence Award for his literacy and activism in human rights. Wiesel, a survivor of the Holocaust, has written more than 50 books of fiction and non-fiction, including his memoir Night (La Nuit), which has been translated into more than 30 languages. He has received numerous awards including the Presidential Medal of Freedom, Nobel Peace Prize and U.S. Congressional Gold Medal.
Tickets start at $250 per person and are on sale now. Corporate sponsorships and tables are also available. It is the campus’ mission to never turn a student away due to financial hardship. All proceeds from this event will benefit the school’s scholarship program to provide funds for students in need.
