Jewish Film Festival's Last Day
The Las Vegas Jewish Film Festival will be showing the last of its films this Sunday, Jan. 27th at the Adelson Educational Campus. The lineup includes two films. Life In Stills, which plays at 3:30 tells the story of 96-year-old Miriam Weissenstein who is threatened with the demolition of her late husband Rudi's store that contains an extensive photographic archive of the State of Israel. With the help of her grandson Ben, they seek a solution that evolves into a deeper understanding of their relationship and the value of the legacy they share.
Remembrance , which plays at 5:00 is an epic romance between a Polish partisan and German Jewish woman who believed the other had died during the Holocaust. Three decades later, they discover that they have both survived and now must contend with the emotional and moral ambiguities of an unresolved past. For more specifics about the Festival Click here
