And if that gorilla wants to frolic poolside to the live sounds of a top DJ, surrounded by swaying palms and thousands of her sexiest, scantily clad new best friends, she’s heading to Encore Beach Club. Today’s spendy partiers have arrived at a point where they want it all: surf, sand (well, land) and sound. EBC has their number, offering a towering multi-tiered, European-style cabana setup in bright orange and white, with doors that overlook the Strip, all the latest amenities (can you say private dipping pools?) as well as a complete transformation to Surrender nightclub when the sun goes down. The list of resident DJs reads like DJ Mag’s Top 100, not to mention the conveyer belt that drops off fresh touring acts and turntablists all season. And with Vegas’ summer lasting nearly eight months, that’s a long season.
