Anthony Marshall knows what it means to grow up as a UNLV basketball fan in “the 702”—the anticipation each October, the hope that this is the year the team will go one step further.

Now that the junior guard, a graduate of Mojave High School, has blossomed into a star for the Runnin’ Rebels, he’s getting used to being the vessel of those hopes. By the looks of things at the autograph session after the Rebels’ Scarlet & Gray Scrimmage on Oct. 16, he’s enjoying the role.
