It seems that there are now more places in Las Vegas where it’s legal to shoot machine guns than on most military bases. Forbes.com contributor Larry Olmsted takes a look at the growing number of machine-gun firing ranges in the Valley, as well as the impetus behind the trend. The story provides some interesting insight, such as the four phases most first-time shooters experience, but also refers to the Gun Store on East Tropicana Avenue as “a slightly remote location about three miles from the Strip.” Consider it a lone misfire in an otherwise straight-shooting analysis.
