NYC nightlife group partnering with Light in direction for Jet space

Labor Day weekend will see the closing of the venerable Jet Nightclub at The Mirage, but the space won’t be mothballed for long. A report in the New York Post says the owners of 1Oak in Manhattan are looking to take over the space and renovate in time for a New Year’s Eve opening. It appears that the new venue will be a partnership between New York-based The Butter Group and Jet’s owners, Light Group. The latter declined comment, but the domain name 1OakLasVegas.com is registered to the nightlife company.
