Danny is a big part of his community, especially at his home away from home, the Winchester Cultural Community Center, where the street skater lets loose while training with his 12-member team. But Danny also has a passion for service: He volunteers at the center, doing everything from gardening to filming concerts. On Oct. 10, 2010, her 14th birthday, she performed at M Resort to unveil her debut album, LexRox 10, featuring the single “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,” which earned her Artist of the Week on KYDZ 1140-AM radio. Kat is pursuing a degree in physics at UNLV, where she earned an award for Outstanding Student Involvement for the 2010-11 school year. She is an intern with Feeding America, which funds more than 200 food banks across the nation. She recently lobbied Congress on behalf of the nonprofit to discuss ways to relieve hunger. Read more »

Kylie seems to do everything at an accelerated rate. She graduated from Bonanza High a year early, at age 16, and still managed to be her class valedictorian. At UNLV, she’s sustained her scholastic prowess while polishing her goalkeeping skills. UNLV’s season recently ended with her being voted to the Capital One Academic All-District VIII second team, thanks to a 4.0 grade-point average and a .95 goals-against average. Read more »

At age 5, Victoria began formal piano instruction. At age 8, she played a repertoire typically reserved for adults. Today, as a Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist, she’s among the nation’s best young classical musicians. She has won the Rosalyn Tureck International Bach Competition in New York City, earning the opportunity to play at Lincoln Center last year. She has won the American Association for Development of the Gifted and Talented’s Passion of Music competition, which earned her the chance to play at Carnegie Hall the past two Aprils. Read more »

Skyler is in the dream business. He has a passion for adventure and science-fiction writing, and he’s already starting to make a career of it. He was a finalist in the Henderson Public District Library 2011 Teen Creative Writing Contest, and his short story “Robots Have Feelings, Too”—the tale of a sentient robot who must destroy himself in order to save the world—was published in the library’s Unlocked Voices magazine. Skyler has almost finished his first novel, Paradox, about an international spy alliance. Read more »

Brenna is a ballroom dancer who competes around the country, including the Emerald Ball Dancesport Championships in Los Angeles and the Colorado State Ball in Denver. Brenna likes to give back to the community by donating clothes to Shade Tree and helping with toy and food drives. Read more »
