See The Free Daniel Bedingfield Show at Any Cost

    By Xania V. Woodman

When I saw Daniel Bedingfield perform last July at M Resort, I expected a little self-aware contrition from the “Gotta Get Thru This” singer, something in his demeanor that would acknowledge that although the BRIT Award winner has sold 4 million albums since 2001, the world has moved on from his brand of highly calculated pop. Notable Men With Lacquered Hair

    By Geoff Carter

The atmosphere must have been electric. Such iconic American figures, standing in the same room, breathing the same air—but hey, let’s forget the meeting of Elvis Presley and Richard Nixon for a moment. Million Dollar Quartet, the hit Broadway show based on Elvis’ other notable confab, comes to The Smith Center on June 12-17 ($24-$129). It should be fun to watch actors rip through classics such as “Hound Dog” and “Folsom Prison Blues” as they re-create the monumental 1956 recording session of Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis.
