In the 1970 pilot episode of The Partridge Family, the musical matriarch played by Shirley Jones shuttled her five kids to Las Vegas on a painted bus for a gig at Caesars Palace. Now, more than 40 years later, the Oscar winner will arrive at the Palms via limousine for Oscar Night Las Vegas, where she will be the guest of honor and bask in “Shirley Jones Day” (Feb. 26) as proclaimed by Mayor Carolyn Goodman.
